INSPIRE ME

Here at Opulence Stoves, our service doesn’t end once your stove has been installed. We offer a range of Sweeping and Servicing plans, tailored to the stoves we install, to ensure that the stoves we install continue to work in optimal condition for years to come.

Our in-home service can start from a simple Lighting Demo, which walks you through the best way of getting your stove lit, how to encourage a good burn, and how to ensure your stove burns as cleanly as possible.Stove

Within the first year of having your Stove, and every 12 months thereafter, you are going to need a sweep. Don’t think of it as a cleaning exercise, and don’t think of it as something that needs to be done based on use!

Think of it in terms of a car MOT. Regardless of how much you drive your car, you need a MOT certificate to insure it, and to keep your warranty up to date.

So, what do we do? A few years down the road, your stove may begin to look a bit “tired”. Cleaning out ash can be a dusty business at the best of times, and honestly, who can blame you for overlooking the stove for a clean every now and again…..nor maybe slightly more often?

On top of our standard sweep service, we can give your stove a MOT of its own!

A quick respray, a thorough clean using our professional power-sweeping equipment, and a re-oiling of your slate hearth can make a world of difference.

Oppulence StoveIn the instance on this page, our customer had booked us to come out and sweep and service their stove we had previously fitted. After an inspection of the stove, checking the condition of the glass in the door, the firebricks and the door seal rope throughout, it was decided no parts were in need of replacement.

The Power Sweep was carried out, after fully vacuuming the firebox to rid it of excess ash. Once swept, the stove has a smoke test to ensure all seals are in good condition, and fire cement is replaced in flue connections, as needed. The service side of the visit begins with the initial clear out of the firebox, and then moves onto the stove exterior, where the Sweep resprayed the outside panels of the stove to restore the “day one look” of the stove.

Finally, the stove was given a clean, glass brought up to a shine, ash dust washed away from the surface of the hearth, which was lastly re-sealed with a wipe down of boiled linseed oil.

Just see the results for yourself!

Hi! I’m Jess and I am the showroom manager at Opulence Stoves. I have been working with the family business for the last 9 years, and I love anything that’s different!

I try to keep my eye on the trends within the industry, and one thing that has caught my eye is how many people that are taking their heating outside…

As Summer approaches everyone is thinking about the BBQ’s and garden parties that will take place. I’m a real foodie so anything that guarantees to get the taste buds tingling when I’m there, so I was very curious to learn more about the new outdoor living range from Morso.

The real front runner of this new range is the Morso Forno oven. The outdoor heater, come pizza oven, come grill offers cooking versatility, stylish design and tantalising aromas! You really can taste the difference between this authentic way of cooking compared to a standard BBQ.

The Deluxe Garden Package includes the Forno Oven, Large Garden Table offering a practical preparation and work space, Tuscan Grill, Pizza Peel, and a variety of accessories. They even throw in a cook book to help you get started!

Morso have been market leaders for their innovative designs dating as far back as 1853. They are exceptionally engineered, and offer the user confidence by issuing a 5 year guarantee.

Twin Wall System Chimneys

ICID

ICID is a twin wall system chimney designed specifically for stoves. A key feature of the system is the easy to install twist lock connections.

An endorsement of the quality of the flue is its guarantee. A period equal to the guarantee period of the appliance to which the liner is first connected; or 20 years.

ICID Plus Product Features

Maximum flue temperature efficiency

The 25mm of high-density mineral wool insulation maintains the flue gas temperature, improving flue draught on start-up and minimising condensation.

Advanced corrosion resistance*

Designed and constructed using laser welded 316L stainless steel inner liner and stainless steel case.

Twist-lock bayonet joining system

This is secured by a locking band.

Lip seal packs are available

These contain a quick fit female lip seal with a grease sachet to allow product to be easily adapted for use in Positive Pressure (P) applications for use on condensing positive pressure appliances.

Engineered design

An inward bead at the female end of the inner liner acts as a capillary break preventing moisture being drawn through the joint.

Maximum thermal expansion

The inner liner is free to expand through female collar, allowing for maximum thermal expansion even during a soot fire.

*Corrosion Resistance

Chimneys are subject to significant corrosion attack by flue gas condensates, particularly from solid fuel. ICID is specifically designed and manufactured to resist this condensation.

Not only is it one of the most aesthetically pleasing flue systems to look at, furthermore it has one of the longest guarantees of any twin wall system chimneys. We have built a long-lasting relationship with our flue manufacturer to ensure we can find all the answers we need.

In addition to our comprehensive stove installation services, we are happy to provide this system on a supply only basis. Enquire about this product.
