INSPIRE ME

Here at Opulence Stoves, our service doesn’t end once your stove has been installed. We offer a range of Sweeping and Servicing plans, tailored to the stoves we install, to ensure that the stoves we install continue to work in optimal condition for years to come.

Our in-home service can start from a simple Lighting Demo, which walks you through the best way of getting your stove lit, how to encourage a good burn, and how to ensure your stove burns as cleanly as possible.Stove

Within the first year of having your Stove, and every 12 months thereafter, you are going to need a sweep. Don’t think of it as a cleaning exercise, and don’t think of it as something that needs to be done based on use!

Think of it in terms of a car MOT. Regardless of how much you drive your car, you need a MOT certificate to insure it, and to keep your warranty up to date.

So, what do we do? A few years down the road, your stove may begin to look a bit “tired”. Cleaning out ash can be a dusty business at the best of times, and honestly, who can blame you for overlooking the stove for a clean every now and again…..nor maybe slightly more often?

On top of our standard sweep service, we can give your stove a MOT of its own!

A quick respray, a thorough clean using our professional power-sweeping equipment, and a re-oiling of your slate hearth can make a world of difference.

Oppulence StoveIn the instance on this page, our customer had booked us to come out and sweep and service their stove we had previously fitted. After an inspection of the stove, checking the condition of the glass in the door, the firebricks and the door seal rope throughout, it was decided no parts were in need of replacement.

The Power Sweep was carried out, after fully vacuuming the firebox to rid it of excess ash. Once swept, the stove has a smoke test to ensure all seals are in good condition, and fire cement is replaced in flue connections, as needed. The service side of the visit begins with the initial clear out of the firebox, and then moves onto the stove exterior, where the Sweep resprayed the outside panels of the stove to restore the “day one look” of the stove.

Finally, the stove was given a clean, glass brought up to a shine, ash dust washed away from the surface of the hearth, which was lastly re-sealed with a wipe down of boiled linseed oil.

Just see the results for yourself!

Hi! I’m Jess and I am the showroom manager at Opulence Stoves. I have been working with the family business for the last 9 years, and I love anything that’s different!

I try to keep my eye on the trends within the industry, and one thing that has caught my eye is how many people that are taking their heating outside…

As Summer approaches everyone is thinking about the BBQ’s and garden parties that will take place. I’m a real foodie so anything that guarantees to get the taste buds tingling when I’m there, so I was very curious to learn more about the new outdoor living range from Morso.

The real front runner of this new range is the Morso Forno oven. The outdoor heater, come pizza oven, come grill offers cooking versatility, stylish design and tantalising aromas! You really can taste the difference between this authentic way of cooking compared to a standard BBQ.

The Deluxe Garden Package includes the Forno Oven, Large Garden Table offering a practical preparation and work space, Tuscan Grill, Pizza Peel, and a variety of accessories. They even throw in a cook book to help you get started!

Morso have been market leaders for their innovative designs dating as far back as 1853. They are exceptionally engineered, and offer the user confidence by issuing a 5 year guarantee.

If you’re looking into a stove to warm your living room, you probably know that you have a choice between wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves. Did you know that you’ve also got a choice between freestanding and inset stoves? Also known as insert stoves, they offer plenty of benefits that you should get to know before deciding on which kind of stove to have in your home.

Inset stoves are an ideal way to save space in your room. If you have a smaller room or prefer the look of smaller furniture and fittings, then an inset stove is a great way to go.

Freestanding stoves have viewing windows for both the front and sides of the stove. Although this offers more visibility of the flames, this also means that these stoves take up much more room. Inset stoves cannot offer this same visibility of the flames, but they more than make up for this in the space saved. Double-sided inset stoves are also available if your room can accommodate this style.

These stoves are also just as efficient as other options. Make sure you select the correct size output for your room, and an inset stove will be just like any other option. Each stove will have its own efficiency rating, with each of these maintaining their efficiency if operated properly.

There’s a handy feature of inset stoves that is sometimes overlooked during installation. These stoves have a fan that can distribute hot air back around into the room rather than just heating the chimney breast or surrounding bricks. With these modern stoves, there’s also the option to pipe this heat into another room. This great feature means you can heat both your lounge and bedroom at the same time.

Inset stoves are the perfect addition to any living room, providing you with warmth and a stunning centerpiece that’s also up to scratch with the most stringent environmental standards for stoves. Whatever your personal interior style, there’s something in our wide range that will perfectly suit your home. You can browse our full range below. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions about any of our inset options.
