Here at Opulence Stoves, our service doesn’t end once your stove has been installed. We offer a range of Sweeping and Servicing plans, tailored to the stoves we install, to ensure that the stoves we install continue to work in optimal condition for years to come.
Our in-home service can start from a simple Lighting Demo, which walks you through the best way of getting your stove lit, how to encourage a good burn, and how to ensure your stove burns as cleanly as possible.
Within the first year of having your Stove, and every 12 months thereafter, you are going to need a sweep. Don’t think of it as a cleaning exercise, and don’t think of it as something that needs to be done based on use!
Think of it in terms of a car MOT. Regardless of how much you drive your car, you need a MOT certificate to insure it, and to keep your warranty up to date.
So, what do we do? A few years down the road, your stove may begin to look a bit “tired”. Cleaning out ash can be a dusty business at the best of times, and honestly, who can blame you for overlooking the stove for a clean every now and again…..nor maybe slightly more often?
On top of our standard sweep service, we can give your stove a MOT of its own!
A quick respray, a thorough clean using our professional power-sweeping equipment, and a re-oiling of your slate hearth can make a world of difference.
The Power Sweep was carried out, after fully vacuuming the firebox to rid it of excess ash. Once swept, the stove has a smoke test to ensure all seals are in good condition, and fire cement is replaced in flue connections, as needed. The service side of the visit begins with the initial clear out of the firebox, and then moves onto the stove exterior, where the Sweep resprayed the outside panels of the stove to restore the “day one look” of the stove.
Finally, the stove was given a clean, glass brought up to a shine, ash dust washed away from the surface of the hearth, which was lastly re-sealed with a wipe down of boiled linseed oil.
Just see the results for yourself!
Hi! I’m Jess and I am the showroom manager at Opulence Stoves. I have been working with the family business for the last 9 years, and I love anything that’s different!
I try to keep my eye on the trends within the industry, and one thing that has caught my eye is how many people that are taking their heating outside…
As Summer approaches everyone is thinking about the BBQ’s and garden parties that will take place. I’m a real foodie so anything that guarantees to get the taste buds tingling when I’m there, so I was very curious to learn more about the new outdoor living range from Morso.
The real front runner of this new range is the Morso Forno oven. The outdoor heater, come pizza oven, come grill offers cooking versatility, stylish design and tantalising aromas! You really can taste the difference between this authentic way of cooking compared to a standard BBQ.
The Deluxe Garden Package includes the Forno Oven, Large Garden Table offering a practical preparation and work space, Tuscan Grill, Pizza Peel, and a variety of accessories. They even throw in a cook book to help you get started!
Morso have been market leaders for their innovative designs dating as far back as 1853. They are exceptionally engineered, and offer the user confidence by issuing a 5 year guarantee.
This is a firm favourite of mine so please contact me for further information.

A stove is a perfect addition to your living room, instantly creating a warm and cozy atmosphere with the flickering flames and crackling wood providing warmth and ambiance. However, wood doesn’t have to be your only fuel option. A multi-fuel stove offers you a whole range of options for both cost-effectiveness and convenience.
Multi-fuel stoves let you burn different types of fuel, with coal, wood and smokeless options all available. These versatile heating options are ideal for heating your home, and with an amazing range to choose from at Opulence Stoves, you can feel the benefit of using multiple fuels with a stove that looks great in your living room.
These stoves are optimised to accept more than one type of fuel and to burn these multiple types of fuel as effectively as possible. This means that no matter which type of fuel you choose to use, you’ll be getting economical use out of your stove. They feature raised grates complete with either moving bars or a central riddling grate along with an ashpan. This allows for burning fuel to be de-ashed with ease, ensuring that effective combustion conditions are always maintained. The ashpan contains all of the ash so you can remove it safely.
A great feature of multi-fuel stoves is the heat output. The output will be similar, or even the same, as a purely wood burning stove, while maintaining very high efficiency. These modern stoves are always built with both output and cost-effectiveness considered, so you’ll be getting the best of both worlds with a multi-fuel appliance.
If you’re still wondering why you would choose a multi-fuel stove over a wood-burning one, perhaps the best advantage is the convenience. Since a multi-fuel stove will be able to burn a range of different fuels, you have a choice between more fuel suppliers. This again provides cost-effectiveness, as you can choose cheaper or more accessible fuel as and when you need it.
As well as being powerful and efficient, there’s also the fact that our range of stoves has some stunning options to choose from. Whatever the interior style of your home, there’s something in our wide range that will perfectly suit your home. You can browse our full range below. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions about any of our multi-fuel options.
